Dish Discovery – A Community-Focused Food App for Students Client – Pro Bono Project Dish Discovery is a mobile app designed to support hostel and college students by transforming their food habits and fostering a sense of community. Inspired by the challenges of irregular meals and uninspiring hostel food, this app helps students build better eating routines in a fun, social, and engaging way. The app features food festival maps, student communities, personal nutrient tracking, and social connectivity — creating a space where students can share meals, discover nearby food events, and motivate each other toward healthier habits. By combining utility with a strong community feel, Dish Discovery encourages students to take better care of their health and eating patterns, making food a joyful and shared experience rather than a skipped necessity.
