IRCTC Mobile App Redesign – A User-Centered Travel Booking Experience Client – Self-Initiated (Pro Bono for Public Use) Driven by poor user feedback and cluttered experience on the existing IRCTC ticket booking app, I initiated a complete revamp of the mobile experience as a pro bono contribution to help millions of daily users. Through extensive research, user reviews, and usability analysis, I redesigned the app with a fresh, intuitive interface — simplifying the ticket booking process, improving accessibility, and aligning with modern UI/UX standards. The project followed a complete design journey: from user research and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and user flow optimization. This self-initiated project highlights how design can be a powerful tool for social good — enhancing convenience for travelers and potentially transforming how people engage with one of India’s most used public service platforms.
